Day 22: Greely, CO - Hays, KS

We went mostly east and a bit south as we crossed eastern Colorado and passed into western Kansas. We saw mostly farms and a few small towns as we got more and more in to farming areas.

We stayed in the small downtown area of Greely, CO which felt good. The rest I saw was mostly like a big suburb. From here we continued east and south.

We are now solidly back into farm country.

Downtown Seibert, CO

Seibert, CO. Per a local woman we talked to, this small store, Surefine, was in this town because the locals donated their own funds to build this building years ago. The bricks with the names engraved on them are recognition of the donors. Sadly, she said the store wasn’t open anymore, closing last year.
