Madison to Milwaukee - Day 15

Today was a transition day from Madison to Milwaukee, which included a stop for a new headlight for the car. We walked through the capitol building in Madison, had lunch and headed out. In Milwaukee we met our son Will, who had been in Chicago for business. We had dinner and attended a Paul McCartney concert at Summer Fest. Summer Fest is a giant Milwaukee music festival every summer on the lake shore.McCartney was great. He played three hours in total and played mostly Beatles songs. His voice was great and he interacted well with the crowd. He is 74 years old. Speaking of crowd, this partially covered arena holds about 25,000. So not at all as bad as seeing him in a sports stadium.Capitol dome.Another dome shot. We also went outside for views at the dome level.Wondering how many parking cars even notice the price.Sculpture and concert goer.Crowd was mostly older folks, but plenty younger. His music spans the years. He also played a few very recent songs, but the Beatles songs were the ones that got everyone really excited. He finished the main show with Hey Jude and then the long encore with Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End melody. Our food - at a nice restaurant in downtown, was better than...The festival food!  Yuck.   I also had the limited choice of Miller Lite or Miller High Life in the venue. Miller is big in Milwaukee. I had my first Miller High Life in years (maybe 40?). At least it was cold...
